We’re thrilled to announce we’ll be playing Day One of ProgPower USA this year on Wednesday, September 4.
Some unfortunate visa circumstances led to unexpected cancellations, and we were asked to step in as a last-minute replacement. It’s always an honor to grace the stage of the best festival in the U.S., so we hope to see you there!
We were utterly shocked and saddened to learn of the unexpected passing of André Matos. André’s work with Angra and beyond was a huge musical influence on us in the early days, and Matt Smith has this to say: “Holy Land was actually the first power metal album I ever bought, and André was among the absolute best songwriters in the genre by any calculation. His influence on me was massive in those formative years, and he will be sorely missed.” We decided to record a cover of one of our favorite Angra tracks as a humble tribute to the man and the music he left behind, and we hope you enjoy it. Our prayers are with his family, friends and fans during this difficult time.

Theocracy will be playing in Atlanta at 529 on Saturday, May 11. We’re joining our friends Paladin for their album release show, and we’ll be closing the evening and playing a full set. Hope to see you there!
